About her
My friends say I’m a very approachable, warm-hearted, easy-going, open-minded, outgoing person (in truth, I’m an ambivert). I’m great company (when fed and watered) with a good sense of humour, a loyal, compassionate confidante, a good cook, always willing to laugh and see the bright, irreverent, funny side of life.
I’m petite but no pushover. I can make my presence felt. I’m also very tactile! I’m often mistaken to be 10 or more years younger, possibly because I still think I’m in my thirties.
I have a wonderful, independent daughter, who has just become a road user, with a motor of her own, so I can remove the chauffeur tag from my list.
I’m very much into self-awareness and self-development. I left the corporate rat-race to train in various health-related modalities so I’m interested in aspects that affect the emotional, physical, psychological and spiritual realms, that promote a healthy, positive and vibrant life.
I love learning languages (I can order a glass of wine in 7) and immersing in different cultures. Currently learning Korean (can read and write & achieved the top level on Duolingo🤓, which basically means I have the proficiency of a 6yr old). I plan to visit there (South obviously) in the near future.

For starters, if you believe you have a dry/witty GSOH (60% of the pie), along with strong values with a moral compass, then that stands you in good stead. A dash of vulnerability, compassion, self-awareness and a dab hand in the kitchen is a plus.
A willingness to learn from experiences with a growth-mindset is appreciated. Interest in travel, different cuisines and cultures would be ideal. Having distinguishable dimples is an unfair advantage.

Having Fatima as a best friend is.......simply the best! We have known each other since the first day of University, so around 30 years and I'm so lucky to have her as my dearest friend. She's been with me through heartaches and teenage years, (ours and our children's!) weddings, babies/stroppy toddlers/hormonal teenagers and and we've shared so many happy family occasions/University get-togethers, Christmases and my family and I love spending time with her!
Fatima is a wonderful listener and somehow always knows the right thing to say and often gives calm guidance or confident reassurance, which makes everything feel good and right. She's a natural at helping with big decisions and I know would be there for me in a crisis!
What else can I say?....she is a really warm, friendly and fun person to be around and whole-heartedly deserves to meet someone to share lifes exciting adventures with! She enjoys a good laugh and is cultured, well-travelled and always keen to cook and try new recipes, (and feed you!) but has her personal favs too including apple cake and brocolli salad! (Trust me, it's so moreish!)

personality, always curious and interested in new people and considerate and welcoming to guests.....she's an excellent host!
