Like to keep active, with a good sense of humour, not a bad cook.
I have a can do approach to life, and am quite independent in that I will often book a flight and hotel and go off on my own, particularly Italy, but it would be great to share travel experiences.
I love going to the opera, but I like jazz, soul and other genres. I belong to local walking groups, and enjoy a hike in the country as much as a city break. I enjoy meeting new people and finding out what makes them tick.
My view is that I want to enjoy life, and being a widow I can either sit at home or open my front door and live life, I choose the latter.There is still a lot more to discover.
I act as an exam invigilator in a local school, which is great because it keeps me in touch with young people. I also seem to spend a lot of time carting my youngest grandson to A and E with rugby injuries, so I run a great ‘Granny to the rescue’ sideline.
