I am not looking for the perfect match, as that probably doesn't exist. Want a friend first and foremost, the rest follows from that point.
I am an artist and an arts educator, visit galleries and interested in all aspects of culture - not just visual - from new psych-rock to theatre and a whole load in-between. Like to read in bed, but usually fall asleep mid paragraph. Music is important to me, I listen to a very wide range when working and at home (as an antidote to the on-line news addiction that I am working to kick :( Attend smaller festivals to discover new (to me) music - volunteer steward at Green Man... Love being perplexed by a dense euro-drama on C4 (Spiral was my all time favourite). Cry with laughter at Larry David's pomposity, and cry for real at any Father-daughter drama (love my girls)!
I run regularly (with the dog), go to the gym several times a week time permitting- cardio/circuits. Never played golf, tried skiing for the first time a few years ago aged 55, gave it up as a bad idea and went hiking through the snow covered forest instead - much better. Love to walk. Like food, but not a ‘foodie’.
I tend to disagree with anti-vaxers, Daily Mail readers, and conspiracy theorists, however I do know a few of these and try to get along with them.
My outlook on life? - that's a big one. Most days I'm full of the joys of spring, on the odd day - maybe not so much, but generally I am an optimist, and I think people would describe me as friendly and direct -loads more I could say, and will when we connect..
