About her
Friends describe me as determined and smart, with a good sense of humour. I'm perpetually curious and love learning about people and topics I don't know about. I enjoy theatre, music, swimming, playing chess and listening to horse racing. I'd love to share company and conversation alongside some of these activities and am open to trying new things. For work I do several things including being a Non Executive Director for a housing association, testing websites for accessibility and production for performance artists. You'll see from my photo that I'm disabled and for transparency - as well as being a wheelchair user I'm blind. "Disabled" is not a body type so you can decide for yourself what body type I fit into - I think it's curvacious. Questions about my disability are natural and to answer the obvious ones which cross many minds - yes I can have an adult, intimate relationship and no I'm neither 100% dependent on carers nor expecting you to be my carer. Beyond that, if you're interested in getting to know me for other reasons, please ask about my disability in a way which falls in the middle of the spectrum between pure, instant nosiness and pretending it doesn't matter :-)
About her ideal match
I'm looking for someone open minded who enjoys conversation and would like to share theatre visitsor days out near the sea for example (though I'm open to trying new things too). I cook at home mostly but enjoy food out as well and more so in company. I like to eat fairly low carb most of the time but will deviate occasionally. I like you to take care of your health but not be obsessive about it, be confident but not arrogant, enjoy laughter. I'm looking for someone to talk to, share good times, hard times and life's mysteries. I like to spend quality time together and take care of each other whilst also respecting each other's needs for time and commitments outside our relationship. I do really want a long term relationship and to meet in person so I like to spend some time first getting to know each other through messaging and talking on the phone but if we get on well there, let's meet ASAP. Ideally I'd like to have or adopt a child. I recognise that my age and disability have a huge impact on this - but they don't make it impossible. If that can't happen, I'm hoping to find other ways of having children in my life through work or volunteering. So if you'd like to get to know me and don't want children please get in touch - but only if you can at least understand my wish for a child and don't think it's crazy or irresponsible.
